Dance

I began dancing at age 8, when I enrolled in a musical theater class. I absolutely loved how dance class was a space I could emote and use my body to express emotion. From ages 12-17, I trained as a competition dancer in the styles of Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap and Musical Theater. At William & Mary, I was apart of Orchesis Modern Dance Company, a faculty-run semi-professional company on-campus. During College I also taught dance part-time at Institute for Dance, in Williamsburg, VA. Becoming a teacher was incredibly special to me, as I was able to impart my love of Dance onto younger generations.

I worked at iDance until June 2022, when I graduated from William & Mary. Working at iDance during University gave me a space outside of the college bubble and become greater invested in the Williamsburg Community. Moreover, it brought me such joy to be able to impart something I love to the next generation of dancers.
